Last month, members of our company attended the ITPA Oxford conference. As the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA) enters its sixth decade, the conference marked the second event held in Oxford following the successful inaugural meeting of the restructured organization in London. The December conference featured engaging discussions on critical tax planning topics, including recent decisions and global changes in the tax landscape, UBO Registers and taxation, the EU versus British overseas territories, and massively discretionary trusts.
Earlier in November, members from Cone Marshall Group and Teton Trust Company attended ITPA London, where panel discussions covered topics such as UK Non-Dom, immigration to Italy, tax planning in Cyprus, Monaco, Dubai, and Barbados, and US post-election updates.
Geoffrey Cone, Founder & President of Cone Marshall Group, and Katrina Robinson, CEO of Cone Marshall Group & Teton Trust Company, serve on the ITPA management board, which promotes knowledge exchange through conferences, publications, and online resources. Our team members also led impactful sessions at both events, with Geoffrey Cone and Katrina Robinson facilitating key discussions.
A sincere thank you to all the speakers and attendees who helped make these events a success. We also extend our gratitude to the Oxford Union and Pembroke College, Oxford, for providing outstanding venues to host the ITPA Oxford conference, as well as to Claridge’s in London for hosting the ITPA London conference.
We look forward to the two-day conference from March 5-7 in Monte Carlo at the Hotel Hermitage, where we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ITPA.
